Professional Edition - How to Purchase a License
Purchasing and renewing a lab-level or individual Professional Edition license can be completed directly in-app. To begin, create your LabArchives account under the appropriate regional server following the directions here. Upon creation, you will have a Free-Edition account and will then see options in-app to upgrade and purchase a Professional Edition license.
After making the selection to Upgrade your account, you will be brought to the LabArchives ELN Purchase Page. First, select the appropriate market: Academic/Non-Profit or Commercial/For-Profit. An additional option is available to bundle your ELN subscription with Inventory, our electronic inventory management system. Select the ELN Essentials package or ELN + Inventory Bundle and the amount of seats you wish to acquire.
After making your purchase selection, you will be taken to the Order Form which will display your order and license details, including number of users and total price. Fill out the required account and billing information to submit your form. At the bottom of the form, you can also indicate whether you would like a formal quote generated for your order.
All submitted order forms are reviewed by our order processing team and can be completed via credit card, via a payment link sent by our team, or purchase order. Please allow 3-5 business days for the process to be completed and your subscription to be activated.
If after purchase, you require additional seats, or when it comes time to renew your subscription, visit the triple-dot menu and select Upgrade/Manage my Account. The Subscription page displays the current subscription details and billing history. From here, you can renew your subscription or add more users to an existing subscription. After inputting the number of users and making your purchase selection, you will proceed to the Order Form as described previously.
