If you are at an institution that uses Single Sign-on, and this has been enabled for LabArchives, you will use your institution credentials to sign in to LabArchives.
At the LabArchives Login Page, select your institution from the "Sign in through your Institution" drop down list. You will be brought to your institution Single Sign-on page.
If you are accessing LabArchives from a recognized campus location you may be redirected to the ”LabArchives Partner Site Login” page If so, select your institution and click “Go to your Institution's Login”.
Note: If your account is connected to a single sign-on system you may need to generate a password token to use applications like Folder Monitor, GraphPad Prism, or Vernier Logger Pro. For more information about using password tokens, please see HERE.
Create or activate a new LabArchives Account
These steps should be used when you create an account with LabArchives.
- After logging in to your Institution Single Sign on System you will be brought to a LabArchives screen with the options "Link an existing LabArchives account" and "Create or Activate a new LabArchives account”
- Type the email address you want associated with your account in the Email Address field under “Create or Activate a new LabArchives account”. Note: If someone has shared a notebook with you, verify that the entered email address is the address at which you received the “activate” email.
- Click “Create New Account”.
- When asked “Do you want to create a new LabArchives account and link with your login credentials?” Click “Yes”
Link an Existing LabArchives Account
These steps will connect an existing account to your institution single sign on system. Once your account is connected to the single sign-Sign on system you can login
- After logging in to your Institution Single Sign on System you will be brought to a LabArchives screen with the options "Link an existing LabArchives account" and "Create or Activate a new LabArchives account”
- In the fields under “Link an exisitingLabArchives account”, enter the email address and password associated with your account
- Click “Link Existing Account"
- When asked "Do you want to link this existing LabArchives account?" click "Yes"’
Single Sign-On and Shared Devices
Your Browser may store session cookies with your credential information. If you share your device with another user be sure to observe best practices like signing out and closing your browser when you are finished.
- Clear the browser cache and exit the browser (don't just close the window) at the end of your session.
- Make sure the browser is set to remove session cookies when it is closed.
