The Google Calendar and Google Docs Widgets are two of the built-in widgets available to all notebook members with edit access to the notebook. The widgets allow you to embed and view your Google Calendar and Google Docs directly inside your LabArchives Notebooks. With appropriate permissions, Google Docs can be edited directly within the LabArchives notebook.
From the Add New Entry menu, select Widget, and then choose Google Calendar or Google Docs from the menu. Click Google Calendar or Google Docs to add the Widget to your LabArchives page.
Google Calendar
After selecting the Google Calendar Widget from the Widget menu, it will be inserted onto the page in your LabArchives notebook. From the Google Calendar Entry Editor, paste the Google Calendar iFrame Embed code to make the calendar visible within your notebook. The embedded calendar is only visible to people you've shared it with via the Google Calendar settings.
To retrieve the iFrame Embed Code, open your Google Calendar. On the left side of the window, hover over the calendar name, click the triple-dot menu and select Settings and Sharing. From this page, scroll down to the Integrate Calendar section and copy the Embed Code and paste it into the Google Calendar Entry Editor. Click Save to page.
