Settings are available to control access to notebook comments, the formatting of entries, and the availability of electronic signatures in the notebook. The ability to manage Notebook Settings is restricted to members assigned the roles of Notebook Owner, Notebook Administrator, or Account Administrator. In other words, if you are currently assigned the role of a Notebook User or Guest, you do not have the privilege to adjust the Notebook Settings. To learn more about specific roles and privileges, please visit Understanding Notebook Roles and Permissions.
To access Notebook Settings, click the triple-dot menu in the top-right corner of the main navigation bar, select Notebook Settings, and by default, the Notebook Settings tab will be open. While viewing the current notebook, if you do not see the Notebook Settings feature, this indicates that you have been assigned a role in the notebook that does not give you permissions to adjust any notebook settings.
Notebook Comment Privileges - Allow members assigned the Guest role to comment on notebook entries and allow comments on entries that have been published and are publicly available.
Entry Options - Select if new entries will be added to the top of the page or bottom of the page, the default font family, size and line height for Rich Text entries, and enable markdown support for better formatting in Plain Text entries.
Page Signing - Enable notebook electronic signatures using Page Signing or Page Signing with Witnessing.
