The Copy to Clipboard feature copies the information found in the About and Details tabs of the Inventory Item's record including a direct URL tied to the item in Inventory. This can then be pasted into other resources such as an ELN or anywhere else you may need to track or enter information about the Inventory Item.
Note: LabArchives Inventory has a direct integration with the LabArchives ELN using the ELN Inventory List entry. The Inventory List is the preferred method for adding Inventory details to the ELN. Click here to learn more.
When viewing an Inventory Item, select Copy to Clipboard from the top menu.
Then paste the details in any text editor. All of the item’s required and Inventory Type specific fields, along with a unique Item URL, will be included.
Because Inventory Items cannot be deleted or removed from Inventory (even when it is out of stock), the link remains active allowing you to access the details about the item.
