Sketch

The Sketch entry is a quick and flexible way to add hand-drawn visuals, diagrams, or notes directly into your Notebook. It’s ideal for visually explaining concepts, sketching out ideas, or illustrating information that’s difficult to convey with text alone. Whether you're outlining a workflow, creating a quick mockup, or marking up a visual explanation, the Sketch tool offers a straightforward interface with intuitive drawing features.

To add a Sketch to a notebook page, select Sketch from the +New Add Entry menu. 

Once selected, the Sketch editor will appear directly on your page. After completing your sketch, simply click Save to Page to insert it into your notebook entry.

Sketch Tools

The Sketch tool includes a variety of drawing and editing options to help you build detailed and polished diagrams:

Icon	Tool	Description
	Freehand Draw	Draw freely on the canvas using your mouse or stylus. Ideal for handwriting or quick sketches.
	Straight Line	Draw straight lines—useful for underlining, arrows, or structural elements in diagrams.
	Straight/Arrow Line	Add a straight line or an arrow to the end of a straight line.
	Circle Tool	Draw circles with optional fill and transparency settings. Useful for grouping or emphasizing areas.
	Rectangle Tool	Create rectangles or squares. These can be filled in or outlined based on your settings.
	Freehand Shape	Draw custom shapes with flexible outlines. Fill options and opacity are available.
	Move Item	Select and drag any element on the canvas to reposition it.
	Eraser	Click on an item to remove it from the sketch. Great for quick edits.
	Text Tool	Add text to your canvas. Click anywhere to type and place a text box.
	Start Over	Clears the entire sketchpad so you can begin again from a blank slate.
	Undo	Reverts your last action—useful for fixing mistakes without starting over.
	Stroke Color/Width	Adjusts the color and thickness of lines.
	Fill Color/Opacity	Controls the color and transparency of filled shapes.
