The PubMed References feature in LabArchives allows you to quickly search and embed published literature citations that supports your research. It simplifies reference organization during manuscript writing and ensures your citations are accurate, current, and easy to access.
To add a PubMed reference to a notebook page, select PubMed References from the +New Add Entry menu.
From the Search PubMed for References window, enter a search term such as a keyword, author name, or PubMed ID, then click Search. Matching references will appear below the search menu with an option to select the articles you want to reference. A link to view the article in PubMed and other sites may also be included. Click Add to Entry to insert the reference onto your notebook page.
You can add additional references to the same entry by clicking Search PubMed again. When you're finished, click Save to Page to save all selected references to your notebook.
After the PubMed reference is saved to the page, an option is available to Download to Bibliographic Manager. This generate an RIS file that can be imported into supporting bibliographic managers.
