Item Notifications can be set to alert members when an item's expiration date is approaching and when the quantity is running low. Notifications can be set by Lab Manager(s) and the members that received or added the item manually or via import. When the notification is set for either or both of these monitoring options, the member will receive notifications via system messaging and email.
To set a Notification, select to Edit the Inventory Item. From the Edit Inventory Item screen, add the Expiration Date and/or Quantity Notification threshold and click Update Item. Click here to learn more about adding and editing Inventory items.
Viewing Notifications
Notification alerts can be accessed from the Notifications page (the bell icon) from the top navigation bar or through email. In addition to viewing Quantity and Expiration Notifications, Order Status Notifications may also be included on the page.
To dismiss a notification, click the X or Dismiss All from the top of the list.
