Inventory allows users to easily Export a list of Items that can be downloaded to Excel. This can be used to fulfill regulatory requirements to report on in-stock chemicals or to audit and reconcile what is reported in Inventory vs. what is physically in the lab and on the shelf.
From the main Inventory page, use the Inventory Types filter, Locations filter or do a direct search to locate items you wish to Export. Once items are on display, select Export Items to create a list that is exported to Excel. Choose to include the current set of search results or all the items in the Inventory.
The list of items will be downloaded to your computer in the designated downloads folder as an Excel (.xlsx) spreadsheet. The Excel sheet will contain a tab for each unique Item type and columns specific to the item details.
