Form Status
A form's status is dependent on whether or not it has been published or archived. Forms listed in Form Center will have one of 3 statuses:

Draft
-
Published
-
Archived
Draft Forms
A new form will remain in Draft status and is not available to use within notebooks until it is published.
Draft forms can be edited with Form Builder by clicking the pencil icon.
Draft forms can also be deleted by clicking the trashcan icon.
Note: Only draft forms can be deleted permanently from Form Center.
Published Forms
To publish a form, click the “Publish” button.
Publishing a form will make your form entry available to use within notebook pages to collect data. Published forms can no longer be edited with Form Builder or deleted from Form Center.
When a form is published, the edit icon is replaced with a magnifying glass icon used to preview your form as it would be displayed within an ELN page.
Any data collected from a published form can be exported as a CSV file by clicking the export icon.
Archived Forms
Forms with “Published” status can be archived by clicking the “Archive” button.
Archiving a form ensures that data is no longer collected for that form. However, you can still export its data similar to published forms.
Archived forms will no longer be available to add as a notebook page entry, and existing form entries will become uneditable.
If needed, archived forms can be re-published to resume data collection and unlock existing entries.
To republish an archived form, simply click the “Publish” button.
